The lodge is situated at the beginning of a 1-mile beat of fishing with 10 named pools offering a great variety of fishing.

The lodge is able to sleep 4 people and contains everything you could possibly need for your fishing holiday in Wales. Whilst at the fishing lodge you will have:

The Fishing
Swanmeadow fishing lodge, Wales has a 1 mile beat of single bank fishing with 10 named pools providing high quality trout and salmon fishing. The beat is situated on the inside of a U bend with several fast runs running into deep prolific pools. The Usk is renowned for its excellent wild brown trout fishing, at the beginning of the season the March Brown hatches can be very prolific and the river can come alive with the rising trout.

Abergavenny is a real foodie area, the standard of food in the Walnut Tree, Hardwick, Angel Hotel makes a trip worthwhile for fishing and eating.
The Brecon Beacons are a great place to get active with masses of paths and trails for walkers, runners, cyclists and wildlife watchers.
With castles, museums and country houses to visit, there is something for everyone in this corner of Wales.
